Day 5

So, I'm seeing the results a lot quicker than I thought I would have been. I came home from school at around 4:30 after math team, had a snack while watching an episode of the Fresh Prince, and went upstairs to my computer.

By force of habit, I typed in facebook.com immediately, but soon realized that I couldn't get in. So, I spent about five minutes on sixbillionsecrets before coming to the posts that I had already read.

And then something shocking happened... I started my homework within forty five minutes of coming back home and I actually felt as if I had accomplished something. Because truth is, nothing compares to Facebook.

There's nothing as addictive or exciting as a webpage that is updated every minute by your friends. I mean, playing snake on the computer gets boring after you realize that you really suck, watching youtube videos gets monotonous after you realize that every Shane Dawson video is more or less the same, and twitter just isn't as fun anymore. And the stuff that I am doing to procrastinate a bit aren't completely detrimental. I admit that I have wasted a bit of time, but that time was spent on Study Hacks and Dumb Little Man.

So overall, I think that this no facebook thing really is making quite a bit of a difference. So we'll see. Maybe it will work.
